Rooted in the Sandhills
The longleaf pine ecosystem is one of the defining landscapes of the American South. Though much of it has changed, its history still shapes the Sandhills of North Carolina and the places we call home.
Through photography, I explore life in longleaf country: neighborhood edges, municipal spaces, remnants of old paths, rewilding land, and the quiet beauty that persists where nature and everyday life meet.
